Feeling helpless? Fight back!
Every day, unethical companies take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Lies. Overcharges. Under-delivery or even non-delivery. Millions of Americans feel helpless and alone in their fights against injustice, like they have no options left.
What can you do? Surprisingly, there’s quite a lot you can do directly, frequently for free or very inexpensively, to fight back against these unethical practices. The internet has leveled the playing field in many respects for consumers against abusive companies, and this site is dedicated to teaching you how to fight back – directly, and on your own where necessary.
The right underdog can take a grassroots effort national
Sometimes the right underdog, with enough grit and determination, can commence a direct action campaign against an offending company and effectively jumpstart the slow wheels of justice.
Charlotte Laws is a long-time social entrepreneur, well-known for her amazing ability to find an “in” to any social circle, including amongst the Hollywood elite.

It should be no surprise, then, after an unsavory character victimized Charlotte’s daughter online with revenge porn, that Charlotte immediately sprang into direct action. After contacting the owner of the website – who refused to take down the page featuring nude pictures of her daughter, hacked from her phone, and displayed alongside her Facebook profile information – Charlotte doubled down in her efforts.
Charlotte began contacting media outlets, surveying other victims of the same website, and conducted the detective work that the authorities (at the time, at least) refused to conduct. She made it onto national news programs, earned the attention and trust of authorities (namely the FBI), and ultimately brought the proprietor of the revenge porn site to justice. Most recently Charlotte appeared in the Netflix documentary series The Most Hated Man On The Internet to share her story.
You could be the next Charlotte
The great news is, you don’t have to be a Hollywood socialite to fight an effective battle against an unethical company. Not only can you alert the appropriate legal and regulatory authorities, but you can start taking direct action against offending companies to apply pressure and gain leverage in your fight. Because the wheels of justice take so long to turn, however, it’s generally best to start by alerting the appropriate legal and regulatory authorities.
